“Vitality shows not only in the ability to persist, but the ability to start over.” …F. Scott Fitzgerald |
Relationship is an organic, biologically driven, energetic bond that is forged between
people. This energetic bond relies on the spontaneous flow of specific input/output from
each participant in order to be vital and connected. Without the flow of energy, the relationship withers and dries up.
Michele offers a multi-modal therapeutic and experiential approach to helping couples identify where in their relationship this vital flow of energy is blocked. She then guides the couple in experiencing reconnecting which opens the way for the energetic life force in their relationship to flow freely again.
Michele integrates the following therapeutic and experiential modalities in order to restore the vital flow of energy in couple relationships:
-
Positive Psychology methods for defining relationship strengths and relationship vision.
-
Schema Focused and Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy to identify the role limiting beliefs and expectations play in relationship conflict.
-
Internal Family Systems Therapy to identify (a) the role sub-personalities play in quality of relationship and triggers to conflict, and (b) how to hold Self Energy with oneself and your partner to promote a deeper connection and more satisfying relationship.
-
Imago Therapy to identify unconscious influences on the type of partner you pick, attitudes and behaviors you bring to the relationship, and clearing unfinished business.
-
Psychogenetic System Therapy to identify (a) unconscious influences on selection of a mate, (b) negative interactional behavioral patterns within your relationship (c) solutions you can implement to improve the quality of your relationship.
-
Hypnotic Strategies for exploring quality of connection and strengthening bonds within relationship.
-
Communication and Negotiation Skills Building to develop whole message communication with your partner.
-
Experiential Exercises to (a) identify patterns regulating closeness and distance in a relationship; (b) identify signs of toxic fighting and promoting healthy conflict and negotiation skills; (c) promote emotional expression and empathy within the safety of a supportive relationship; (d) renew love and spirituality in coupleship.
-
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to (a) identify the building blocks of personality in four critical areas; (b) expand awareness and acceptance of expectable differences in personality preferences, and the role these differences play in what we perceive, how we process information, how we make decisions, and how we interact.
-
Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behavior (FIRO-B) to explore how people typically interact with one another related to personal needs for inclusion, control and affection in relationships.
